Decorating Policies and Cleanup Schedule

Spring Cleanup

Begins March 1st – March 15th weather permitting. Cone vases are removed Every Friday for ground maintenance, March 15th – November 1st.

Fall
Cleanup

Begins November 1st – November 15th weather permitting. Vases attached to markers are turned down November 1st – March 15th due to the Winter Season and grave blankets.

Flowers

Only arrangements of fresh or silk flowers are allowed.  All small decorations must be contained in a bonze vase or flower beds.  Complimentary cone vases are provided for your convenience from April through October.

Plantings

The planting of a personal flower garden is allowed by request only.  Please contact the KMP Office.  All maintenance including watering, and weeding is to be done by the family.  Any garden not properly maintained will be removed.  KMP IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.

Flags

Flags must be placed in a vase container. An exception to this rule is made for Veterans’ Day, Memorial Day, and all other recognized Veteran’s holidays.  Flags will be permitted for two days before and after each holiday.

Winter Green Decor

Grave blankets, crosses, and wreaths ground or mausoleums are allowed for placement AFTER ALL FALL CLEANUP and must have a removal tag. Removal tags are available at the main office.  NO PLASTIC OR ARTIFICIAL GREENS. The only décor allowed is silk floral, natural cones, and velvet ribbons. ANYTHING ELSE WILL BE REMOVED. KMP IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.

Mausoleums

Fresh or silk flowers are permitted on the crypt and niche fronts in vases only. Everything else will be removed.

Seedings of New Burials

The settling of a new burial is a four-to-six-week process. Depending on the type of soil and the amount of rainfall, the settling time may vary. Once the new burial has settled below the ground level, dirt, topsoil, and seed will be added to complete the burial process.

Not Allowed

To provide professional lawn maintenance and safety the following are not allowed:  glass containers, wires, rocks, stones, edging, fencing statues, sculptures, solar lights, shepherd hooks, balloons, lawn ornaments, and wood chips. These items will be removed and disposed of. Failure to follow these policies will result in your items being removed.
